Vertical Flat Base (BDX)

BUPOLSA’s vertical flat base tanks are designed in fiberglass reinforced polyester (GRP) for the storage of all types of liquid substances. This type of deposit supports all its weight on its flat bottom, so it only requires a level concrete slab and calculated to support the corresponding pressure.

The flat base vertical tanks can be installed both outside and buried.

  • Air Tanks: these are GRP tanks ideal for places where the installation surface is reduced. Its installation is simple and only requires a flat concrete bench correctly leveled for installation (Installation instructions).
  • Buried tanks: These deposits of GRP can be used to maintain a constant storage temperature for a better preservation of the contained product. They can also be used when, for reasons of size or aesthetics, they must go underground. Its installation is similar to the one of the air ones but under earth filling with gravel the hollow of the excavation (Installation instructions).

Dimensions

The range of storage volume of these deposits is very wide depending on the diameter chosen and the length of the ferrule of the same one being able to arrive up to 250m3. Thus, we will be able to count on the following capacities:

Applications

Applications: Vertical tanks are very widespread for the storage of liquid substances with some storage hazard:

  • Hazardous acids (nitric acid, sulphuric acid, sodium hypochlorite, sodium hydroxide…)
  • Hydrocarbons.
